Taking the topic/unit further (into my own time)

In my own time I spoke to two people from Woollahra council about two different issues.
Firstly, I spoke to Gail about Bay View Hill Road (Kambala's car line (pick up) road), it is hazard towards drivers, the road is half completed and turns your wheel towards a fence. She said to speak with the roads department, Daniel Jones and gave me his phone number. I will post some pictures on my other blog about it (see below, the dot point for other blog address). The second lady I spoke to was named Katherine, I placed a complaint about the Lyon park tennis courts bubbler. It is out of order and, quite dirty and uncleaned. She said that it is probably owned by the tennis courts and i would have to speak with them. If not she will put some sort of complaint/fix it form in to the Woollahra maintenance team.

Think Locally act Globally!!!

My MDC (Make A Difference Challenge) is to introduce priority Hybrid Cars spaces in Westfield, Bondi Junction. Most probably on parking level P3 next to the disabled car park spaces or they will be located in the valet section (Yes, the car owners will have valet parking that will be cheaper. It is better to have them located in the valet section because less places are used which means there would be more places for them to park). These two parking places are the closest car spaces to sets of lifts. This is rather than having free car park spaces throughout Westfield because it would be to difficult to achieve and they would not agree to put them in because they don't have the space and would lose money because it would be free and money is all that they care about.(Or is it)

On a national level this will lower Australia's Carbon footprint because hybrid cars don't use and burn as much fuel as normal cars. If it is a success in Bondi Junction's Westfield then maybe all the Westfields around Australia will agree to participate.

It is connected globally because hybrid cars don't use and burn as much fuel as normal cars. This is helping to reduce the dramatic level of global warming. If having the car park spaces is a success then all the Westfields around the world might participate in this wonderful worthy cause to help lower the amount of green house gasses that we (human kind) emit.

PS. i will create a fact page about global warming and how Hybrid cars work and why they are made.

Westfield infomation

This is some information i found out about westfield, Bodi Junction. This will help me when i need to contact them to place my request about priority hybrid carspaces (see the latest post).
